This doesn’t really need much in the way of explanation does it?  Unless, of course, you’re living on the Seychelles or something, in which case… I hate you.  It’s now nearly July and we haven’t had much of a Summer have we?  Sure, I’m appreciating the longer daylight hours but seriously, this rain?  Not so much.  We had one glorious week back in March (that everyone apart from me has forgotten about), and almost two weeks in May… but that’s it – besides those, it’s been nothing but Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death (or something).
So, here’s a giveaway in the hopes of injecting a little summer into our grey skies.  You’re absolutely free to enter regardless of your location, just so long as it’s not sunny where you are.  If you live in the tropics, just wait until it’s night-time and none of us are any the wiser.

        I got an invite to the MAC Hey, Sailor preview at the mall so I invited my makeup buddy Stephanie to go with me! I was pretty excited especially because it was my first time going to a stand alone MAC store!  This collection officially launches on May 24th but I would keep your eyes peeled because these collections are known to drop online earlier than the official date. We got there and the line was HUGE. Luckily we met up with another friend who was near the front of the line. Yay for cuts!! At the front of the line before you go into the store they had a makeup artist doing demos on customers. My friend Stephanie did not have time to put on any eye makeup so she had hers done. Look how excited she is!! LOL

Once we got inside the store it was MAYHEM. People everywhere. You could not really move or even see any products. I had grand plans of swatching everything for you all. Once inside I realized that was not going to happen. So we stood there like goofs for a couple of minutes and then a makeup savior appeared. The guy in the pic below. He asked us if we wanted to see any of the new stuff and then pushed his way though and grabbed us various items. He was AMAZING!!! We totally loved him. Super sweetheart! He said he is from Long Beach, if you know him, please link him here! We want to tell him thanks again for the help!!! In the pic it looks like Steph is trying to feed him the lipstick LOL

 
 This picture was at the back of the store looking out. It was so hot and crowded. They were passing out yummy looking drinks with blueberries in them but I never got one. Sad Face!! Right after we walked out the guy with a drink tray walked by. GRRRRRRRRRRRR

             Stephanie and the awesome makeup artist who did her makeup. He was also so sweet and helpful. On this trip I found the male makeup artists to be so much more friendly and informative than most of the female artists.
