Enter this contest to possibly win 3 free blowouts at my favorite beauty salon, DryBar. This is truly the best hair salon in Manhattan for blow outs that I've ever been to and everything is perfect and wonderful from the moment you enter the salon until you leave.
When you first enter the salon, you are brought into a wonderland of beauty with all the thrills of a kid in a candy store, literally. There are little bowls of sweets, mini chocolate chip cookies, candy, chocolate all over the place for the patrons to enjoy at no fee and the air of the salon is fun, warm and inviting.
The stylists couldn't be nicer and their warmth is from the heart, not artificial in any way. I have been having my hair done at this salon since first discovering it about 6 weeks ago, once a week and it is truly the one time of the week that I covet because I can close my eyes and slip away into my own little world as I am pampered by my favorite stylist, Alexandra Archibold, who is a pro in every sense of the word, and simply relax and meditate. By the time Alexandra is done, not only does my hair look gorgeous but I feel invigorated with a new sense of energy to face the world for another week.
Every experience at this salon has been wonderful. I think the reason for this is the stylists really seem happy to be working there and they seem to be a little family minus any of the squabbles that go along with family life.
I just love this place and I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for luck on this giveaway. Win or lose, I will continue to visit my favorite salon and for $40 for a blow out, this place is really a steal. Once you try it, you'll be hooked just as I am. Wow, what a year it has been! I’ve made so many new blogging friends, found out far more than I ever though I’d know about nail art and learnt some video editing skills to boot. I’ve tried lip tattoos, Pacman Nail art and coveted a Macbook hand mirror and some Topshop jumpers, as well as advised on how to save money on holidays (which won me a trip to CUBA!)- and what to pack for the beach. I joined Glam (lovely guys) iFabbo (very friendly) and started a small YouTube following (confusingly under LadybeautyAddict, but that’s another story) and been slightly outed as who I actually am (was always going to happen).

It has been amazing to hear your thoughts on all sorts of topics. To be honest, I have become even more intrigued to learn about you all. To get to know you a little more, I have put together the first of The Plastic Diaries Annual Survey. It is a very simple questionnaire on what you like. While it is short and sweet, I do know that we all like a little incentive, am I right? To thank-you for taking 10 minutes out of your day (and 10 minutes would be an exaggeration. It should only take 2!), I have compiled my possibly best ever giveaway to date.

In a complete draining of my bank account, I have decided to compile a prize pack of items I feel are ESSENTIALS. These are products I use, love and recommend. They are a mix of Aussie favourites, newly discovered loves AND hard to source items (some of which I shleped back from the US with me for this very competition).
