Prtty Peaushun Review

Prtty Peaushun Review: "

Prtty Peaushun Legs

Prtty Peaushun (pronounced “pretty potion”) is a PETA-approved, cruelty free, non-toxic, vegan product that tightens and firms skin, gives your skin a golden glow, eases sore muscles, and hides cellulite and hyperpigmentation. Do I have your attention now? I thought so.

I’m just starting to realize how wonderful self-tanners are (Beautisol is my current fave), but this product is not a self-tanner. In fact, you can use this OVER your self-tanner for additional coverage and for the skin nourishing and firming qualities. Think of it like invisible stockings – it’s perfect for smoothing on your legs before going out in a skirt or dress. You can also use it on your arms, midsection, even on your face! You get a nice, golden glow – not too dark and not too shimmery. The glow is from minerals – not DHA (self-tanner) – so it does wash off. You can get plain (no color) or find a color to suit your skin tone (I used medium and I am pretty fair).

Prtty Peaushun Package

Prtty Peaushun was created by celebrity makeup artists Bethany Karlyn. She has been using it for years on her clients, and has now decided to offer it to the public. Some of the celebs who love Prtty Peaushun are: Cate Blanchett, Debi Mazar, Tracy Anderson (she refuses to be photographed or filmed without it), JWoww (Jersey Shore), Pam Anderson, Serena Williams, Ann Hathaway, Rihanna, the list goes on and on.

The product comes in an eco-friendly pouch designed to take up minimal space in landfills. It also allows you to get every last drop (which you will want – trust me!). There are no animal ingredients and no animal testing. The formula contains 92% natural, raw ingredients such as avocado oil/butter, pomelo/grapefruit wax, jojoba gel, calendula flower (anti-inflammatory), green tea (good for skin and the caffeine tightens and firms), rosemary (antioxidant, reduces appearance of varicose veins and broken capillaries), arnica (anti-inflammatory, diminishes bruises) and blue vervain (reduces aches and pains due to exercise and stress).

So basically, I am in love with this product. The only thing I don’t like about it is the scent – it is actually unscented, so you smell the ingredients. The smell does dissipate – so don’t put it on right before you head out the door. I put a scented moisturizer or perfume over it (once it’s absorbed) and I’m good to go.
